“Focus on this” zooms into a single element and dims the rest, pinning an AI session to it so you can iterate with accept/reject changes. (This is per-element focus — not the Focus editing mode, which is the calm workspace; see Focus & Studio modes.)
Where: Canvas → right-click an element → "Focus on this" — Enter focus on a selected element
Key ideas
- Not the Focus workspace: This zooms into one element with a pinned AI chat. The Focus editing mode (formerly Simple) is a different thing — a minimal whole-editor workspace. See “Focus & Studio modes”.
- Immersive editing: The element centers, surroundings dim, and an AI chat opens on the left.
- Bound conversation: If the element has a binding, its conversation auto-loads.
- Accept/reject: Changes are reviewed and accepted or rejected at session exit.
Steps
- Right-click an element and choose "Focus on this".
- Iterate with the pinned AI session.
- Accept or reject the changes when you exit focus.
