You don’t have to use the sidebar for everything — most properties can be edited by dragging directly on the element: move it, drag its handles to resize, rotate from a corner, and drag corner handles to round it.
Where: Canvas → select an element — Drag the element or its handles
Key ideas
- Move: Drag the element to reposition. In a Stack/Grid it reorders; hold Cmd/Ctrl to drop it into another container (a drop indicator shows where). Alt-drag leaves a copy.
- Resize: Drag edge/corner handles. Alt resizes from the center; Shift toggles the aspect-ratio lock.
- Rotate & round: Drag just outside a corner to rotate (Shift snaps to 15°); drag the round corner handles inward to add border-radius (Alt for a single corner).
Steps
- Select an element on the canvas.
- Drag its body to move (Cmd/Ctrl to reparent, Alt to duplicate).
- Drag edge/corner handles to resize (Alt = from center, Shift = lock ratio).
- Rotate from outside a corner; drag corner dots inward to round.
