Keyframes are the diamonds on each property track in the Studio timeline. You add, move, copy/paste, ease, and delete them to animate any property over time.
Where: Top bar → Timeline (Studio) → a property track — Scrub to a time and change a property, or record
Key ideas
- One per property/time: A diamond marks a property’s value at a given time; the timeline tweens between diamonds.
- Editing: Select, drag to move, copy/paste (⌘C/⌘V), and delete keyframes.
- Easing: Apply easing per keyframe (F9 easy-ease) or open the graph editor for full curves.
Steps
- Open the Studio timeline and expand a layer.
- Move the playhead and change a property to drop a keyframe.
- Drag diamonds to retime; copy/paste to repeat.
- Apply easing (F9) or open the graph editor (Shift+G).
