ACF Field Groups (Collections)

Collections become ACF field groups on export; their fields map to ACF field types.

Where: CMS → collection fields — Define fields on a collection

Key ideas

• Collections → field groups: Each collection exports as an ACF field group.
• Field mapping: CMS field types map to ACF equivalents (text, image, relationship, etc.).

Steps

1. Create a collection and add fields.
2. Choose each field’s type.
3. Export to WordPress to generate the ACF field group.
